How do I create a My Social Security Online account?
In order to gain access to your personalized online statement, you must have a valid email address, Social Security number, U.S. mailing address, be at least 18 years of age or older, and be able to provide information about yourself that matches information already on file with Social Security and an external authentication service provider, Experian. People must provide their identifying information and answer security questions in order to pass this verification process. This process protects you and keeps your personal Social Security information private.
Once verified, you can create a "My Social Security" account with a unique user name and password to access your Statement online. Start the process today.
